The idea is for us to take your children to places where they can learn about different terrains and how to handle the conditions as they change through the seasons. Fundamentally it will be a fun and a social way to develop bike handling skills & techniques, get fit and learn how to navigate our local surroundings.
The great news will be that as their confidence and fitness increase so will the distance we are able to cover in a session. However in winter, when muddy conditions slow us down, we won’t be travelling as far but they will be learning fantastic bike handling techniques, balance and control. Therefore expect to get wet and muddy in the winter and hot, sweaty and tanned in the summer as we will go out in all weather.
Here are the areas that we plan to take the children over time.
- Our own private skills area in Hindhead
-
Ludshott Common and Waggoners Well
-
Bramshott Common
-
Hankley Common,
-
Thursley Common,
-
Frensham
-
Devils Punchbowl, Hindhead Common and Gibbet Hill,
-
Blackdown.
-

-

For those children interested in racing we have a small racing team to support and encourage this and we can help to find suitable MTB sportives, Enduro and XC races.
